When submitting a legal inquiry request to SCRCA, solicitors/agents must provide the following items:
- Letter of Inquiry including:
- street address,
- lot and concession number,
- municipality,
- closing date (if applicable), and
- details regarding information requested,
- A property map depicting the subject property, and
- Payment of Fee – see fee schedule
- Payment can be made via cash, cheque, or contact our office with your credit card information.

SCRCA staff will issue a letter stating whether a property is subject to Ontario Regulation 41/24 or any other SCRCA interests or programs. Please note that this letter does not constitute a formal SCRCA position on a planning or permit application nor does it replace the pre-consultation process.
